Turtle Rock is one of the five original villages of Irvine, California. This community is great for professionals and young families.
Turtle Rock has a mixture of old and new real estate with several unique neighborhoods within it. Many commuters enjoy being just outside the Newport Beach city limits. It is bounded by University Drive, Mason Regional Park, Strawberry Farms Golf Club, Ridgeline Drive, Culver Drive, and Shady Canyon Drive.
There are many types of homes in Turtle Rock. You will find a variety of detached single family residences and attached condos in The Crest neighborhood. These homes were built in the 1980s, and offer spectacular views of the mountains and city. There are no Mello Roos, and the Home Owners Association dues cover the community pool, barbecue area, and spa.
The Gardens townhouses were built between 1976 and 1983. They offer 1,572 to 2,504 square feet of living space and two to four bedrooms. This community is known for its views as well as split and tri-level floor plans. Monthly dues cover the community pool, spa, exterior repair, tennis court, and homeowner’s insurance.
The Irvine Unified School District serves Turtle Rock with top rated facilities like Turtle Rock Elementary and University High School which are within walking distance for many residents. Some parents may prefer private schools like Spectrum Montessori, Creekside Children’s Center, and Tarbut V’torah Community Day School. There are also many higher learning facilities including the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and Concordia University.
There are many parks and trails throughout this neighborhood as well as several golf courses. Shopping centers include Irvine Spectrum, Los Olivos Marketplace, and Cypress Village Shopping center.
